So I bought this for my water obsessed cat...and honestly she didn't even aknowledge it when I first set it up. : ...didn't pay it any attention for a good week until she realized I wasn't going to be turning the faucet on for her anymore.Now she loves the thing.It was easy to set up, makes virtually no noise other then water trickling. And the hum noise is that then that of a fan on low speed.I also liked that it came with 2 extra filters that are very easy to swap out with.And... The bowl doenst get slimey like your normal water bowl... Me and the cat do like that feature :3It makes for a awesome night light and yes the spout looks like a little daisy too.The cord is prolly the only "meh" thing about it. I say that cuz it's not very long..although I'm fine with that ..my kitchen just wasn't designed with cat fountains in mind.. Lol.I would by again. It's a great and we'll made product. Highly recommend for the finicky kitty.

A hit with the cats and dogs
I have several older cats and a dog that loves to keep hydrated. I was always filling the water bowl, and sometimes it was hard to tell when it was empty. I have tried some cat fountains, but they either get noisy when running low or run low when I'm out and fry the motor. I worried about them running out and was constantly filling them "just in case". I had wondered, why someone just didn't make one with a water level gauge and a pump that just shuts off when the water gets too low for it to safely run.Well, what do you know? I found it! I have a couple of older cats that are having kidney issues and love running water, so fountains are great for their health and they enjoy drinking from them. This fountain is great. It is quiet, has a nice blue light (which helps them find it at night) that changes to red if the water is getting low. I love that I can see the water level and tell when it's low and when it's full, as well as know that it will just shut off if they drink a lot while I'm gone. It's also nice to look at and easy to clean. I gave up on some fountains because they had so many little corners and such that I just couldn't get them clean. Keeping the water clean is important for their health. Comes with extra filters, which is nice.I have tried several fountains, and this one is nice. I have one cat that seems skittish of the fountain, so I still keep the bowl, but I hope he'll see the others and use it too. Great job by the company. Only suggestion is I wish it was a bit bigger. It also has decent documentation with pictures to help with use. I might buy another one to keep in the bedroom for the dogs to also use at night.

Best Cat Fountain Ever!
The fountain was recommended to me by my son whose cat had a litter of kitten. All of their cats love the fresh steams of water and none of them were afraid of the noise. I have had fountains in the past for our cats but they were made of plastic, hard to clean and noisy. Our new metal fountain is wonderful. My cat gets kitty acne when we use plastic dishes so we were eager to try this new fountain. It has performed even better than we could have wished. It is quiet, easy to clean and our cats love it. They love the fresh steams of water and now don’t try to drink from our bathroom sinks faucet! Because of that they are drinking more we feel they are healthier. I completely recommend this fountain and the company that sells it. We received our fountain quickly and it was easy to set up.

**BEWARE** Made my cat sick, visit to the vet. (12/2020)
About an hour after drinking from this my cat started drooling. 24hrs later and it was getting worse so we visited our vet. Mouth exam, blood, and urinalysis all came back fine but he was under observation do to the possibility of ingesting poison. Luckily he was better after 4 days but the vet cost was not so nice.-Everything was washed, rinsed, and run a few times before I let him drink from it. The filter was soaked to get rid of any dust. I suspect there is something in the filter that made him sick or something leaching from the plastic or metal. Not worth returning (if they will re-sell it) so in the garbage it went.

Very easy to put together and fun for my cat
I have 2 cats. One that will use the fountain and the other that won't. When the water level goes too low, you can hear the water, but it just sounds like a spa. The motor is completely silent, which is something that I looked for.Pros:-silent motor-shuts down if water is empty - I tested this to be sure!-cat is hydrating better-amusing for my cat-nice view of water level, complimented by the blue led light.-heavy enough so it won't be tipped over by a mischievous catCons:-None! Other then I just can't coax my second cat to drink from it!My concern was when I went away for a day or two, one cat, Hazel, would play in the water and dump whatever kind of bowl I tried. She would put toys in it and just make a mess. The other cat, Violet persists with the faucet and I will not leave a faucet on, to risk something like a flood if she managed to play with the handle. So that behavior change is still in progress.Hazel loves drinking from the fountain, and definitely no big puddles for me to find with my socks. She still splashes as the water comes from the daisy, but she paws at it and cannot dump this over. Overall a big win and solved many problems. **My thanks to all the people who take time to review and help me navigate so I can make the best choice for me!

"Lasted" 5 months, Cust Service is great though
EDIT: So I reached out to customer service via email (holiday weekend) and they responded within 8 hours. They said they would replace the pump but also gave me instructions on how to clean the pump (should be done with every cleaning) - that was super easy and I had no idea you could pop the back off and pull the propeller/impeller shaft out. This was the problem - it had debris that had wrapped around the shaft. Anyway, problem solved.The pump stopped working after just 5 months. I cleaned it weekly so it's definitely not dirty. Also, the low-level red light won't come on unless there is no water and you'll definitely hear the water level being low before you see a red light. Other than that, the cats loved it. I just hate that it stopped working after such a short period of time.
