Quiet, easy to clean and maintain.
I used to give my cat water through a water bowl but through the years I realize that maybe that's not giving him enough water.I then chose this water fountain as my first automated product for 8 months now. It is not noisy as long as you put in enough water. If there's not enough, there could be some noise but it's not very distracting.I replace the water once a week. Then I do a deep clean once a month in which I clean the pump thoroughly and replace the filter.Make sure to clean the pump regularly. What this means is also taking out the magnetic white and black parts inside the pump. I use the mini brush to get inside there and get rid of slime and gunk that would be hard to reach.If you don't, you might get a flashing red light that does not go away. This happened to me twice in the past week. All I did was thoroughly clean the pump again and the red light went away.

Cats love this water fountain chrome
I have 2cats.When this fountain finally came to my house. Watching the cats trying to lick the water, I never laughed so hard. They were coming out with their heads all wet. They are better now. It’s a hit n miss now lol Every morning I change the water out. I clean the whole machine everyday. I fill it close to the top with my Pur filter on my faucet. Get it set up and running. I get bottled water from my refrigerator and fill to the top so it is colder. I check the water when ever I am in the kitchen. Add when water is low. I can’t see only cleaning this once. A week.or month.. That’s like you drinking out of the same cup without washing for a month. The small black filter inside next to pump. How do you clean that? Do I need to buy a new one.? Thanks.

Not only works great, the seller is FANTASTIC!
BUY THIS UNITWe have a similar unit with no low-water light and it's constantly running dry. The low-water flasher is just great, we're really happy with this unit. Nicely made, big water tank, even much more stylish than our other unit.BUT - the BEST part ... we had a problem with our unit and figured we'd just have to use amazon return, but we gave the seller a chance and OMG!!! They were SO responsive, apologetic we had an issue, immediately sent us a replacement part, sent us the tracking #, and then followed up asking if it solved the problem. I do a lot of customer support, and when I receive TOP NOTCH support it just wows me!!Great product backed by a great seller who is truly concerned about keeping a good reputation, I ask for nothing more, and love it when it actually happens!!

Clean, quiet and safe
The media could not be loaded.  This is the second drinking fountain we got from Wonder Creature. Not that the first one (lotus fountain) is not good, it’s simply that we worry about not having enough water and burning the motor whenever we’re travelling for too long. I’d like to mention a few things that made us feel this stainless steel fountain is the best drinking fountain for our cats.First, it’s super clean ALL the time. For those other fountains with the open reservoir, we noticed that cat hair or small bugs tend to get trapped around the edge around the water line. This means we typically have to empty the fountain and clean the base on a daily basis. The stainless steel top of this fountain though saved us from the hassle, and stayed clean for at least a week (there’s only minor water stains on the edge after a week of use).Second, much like the other fountains from wonder creature, this one is super quiet. I only tend to hear water flowing sound (and it’s by no means an unpleasant sound) when there’s no other activities around, and when I happen to sit within 1 meter next to the fountain.Third, our cats really appreciated the blue light from the lotus fountain. But it’s only in the stainless steel fountain that the lighting actually serves a meaningful purpose! The light changes colour when there’s not enough water in the reservoir, and at the same time the motor stops working to prevent burning out. This new safety function is really reassuring when we leave our cats alone at home when we go on trips!Bonus, the package also comes with a cute silicone mat to keep the floor dry, brushes for cleaning, as well as additional filters!Don’t hesitate about getting this fountain if you’re trying to keep your cats happy and healthy!

Quiet, cute and solves the problem of keeping an faucet on a soft steady stream
The media could not be loaded.  My little princess loves this!! I bought this because she loves to drink out of a running faucet. She was very curious about it when I first set it up and she flipped the top off of it twice. But since then she just drinks right out of it. It's quiet as can be and gives off a nice blue glow when the lights are out. And when the water gets low the light turns red and the fountain goes into standby mode until the water is refilled. It also comes with a cute little round placemat that is placed under it in case of any splash. The fountain doesn't splash out, but the cat may stick her paws in it, causing the splash. I definately recommend this fountain.

I found our forever fountain!
I want to start by saying that I have purchased 5 fountains over the last several years. My son and his wife have purchased a few as well. This one is by FAR the best of them all. My cats love water fountains. Some more than others, but they really do drink more water from fountains versus a water bowl.This fountain hits all the right points:1. It is easy to clean. This is important. Sometimes your cat may want to clean their paws in the fountain, or maybe groom right next to it, which can get fur in the water and then into the pump intake.2. The pump intake is protected from getting stopped up easily by a little fur. There is a mildly rigid, shaped sponge that acts as a pump filter. This keeps the water flowing, which in turn keeps the pump from overheating and going out. Every other fountain I have used is missing this, and I have replaced a few pumps from overheating. Those other fountains also have to be cleaned out more often to clear the pump intake. The sponge has more surface area to pull water into the pump, so it can handle quite a bit of fur without lose of flow rate.3. The filters are affordable, work well, and are easy to change.4. You have options with the center water outlet that is shaped like a flower. My cats prefer the flower without the center yellow piece.5. The bowl is solid all the way above the max water fill line. My first fountain's pump fits into a hole in the bottom/back. It leaked slowly and before I realized it, my floor was warped. No such possibility with this fountain.6. Stainless steel drinking area. The top area of the fountain is a stainless shallow water holding area in case your cat wants to drink from there instead of one of the falling streams. This keeps the area they drink from looking cleaner.7. There is a clear window in the bowl that lets you see the water level. Also, there is a sensor on the pump that will turn the LED in the bowl from blue to red when the water is too low. Also, if the water is too low, the pump turns off to protect itself from damage.I like the fountain, the cats like the fountain, it is easy to maintain. I have been using this fountain for right over 6 months now, and I am telling all of my friends with pets about this awesome little beauty! I highly recommend this fountain. If my kitties could type, they would too!!!
