Zonker loves this fountain
For 15 years we've had a brother and sister cat, Crinkle and Zonker, and just a few weeks ago we had to put Crinkle to sleep. Poor Zonker has been going from room to room looking for his sister for weeks. Poor Zonker! Anyway, he always loved drinking from faucets so I thought I'd get him a little present and I got this fountain. It was really easy to put together, and it's totally silent. It has a great blue light too, so that Zonker (who only has one eye) can see it at night, and he loves it. At meal time, I plug it in and he plays around and drinks from it and seems to really think it's fun. I've only had it a few weeks, but I did clean it yesterday and it was very easy to clean, and not gross or anything. I'm glad I got this. Oh and it comes with a little rubber matt to put under it so it won't slip and so water doesn't get on the floor. Well designed!

Best one I have found!
I have went through several water fountains for my cat, the reason being that they all completely stop working eventually. This one has been going on 7 months now and is still going strong. 🤞🏼It’s even been used more frequently than the others were as I recently have taken in two new kittens who also LOVE this fountain & it’s still working like it’s brand new. If you make sure to thoroughly clean it every month or so, change the filter, & make sure to keep plenty of water in the fountain, this one will last you!!! It’s super easy to clean & simple to take apart & put back together. Another plus - I can’t hear it AT ALL. I never really thought the sound would bother me until I had a fountain that was super loud & super annoying lol. I have nothing bad to say about this fountain!

Me and My Cats Love It!
It took a few hours for the cats to get used to it. I think the bright LED light scared them for awhile. It's a really great product. I've had a huge Petsafe Drinkwell for years, but I've always felt it was designed more for dogs than cats.One of my cats has CH and it was hard for her to bend down low to drink from the Drinkwell as her head would shake pretty bad. I knew I wanted something more vertical, smaller than the Petsafe and more "open" or with room to drink. Also, with the Petsafe one being horizontal you wasted too much water. You have to put over a half gallon in it to make sure the motor is covered, and I change their water everyday so the price of jugs adds up. My cats drink a lot, but not nearly that much.At first I was wary of getting a Chinese made product for my pet's water due to the quality of plastic used, but it's listed as BPA free so I thought I'd go for it. This fountain is better than I imagined. It's high enough where the cats don't have to bend down to drink, it's open with a little bubbling fountain top for circulation (I don't use the flower thing due to my CH cat. She can't keep steady enough to drink from the falling streams) so there's more than enough room for them to drink easily from it. They nearly had to put their heads into the Petsafe's bottom well to drink which I didn't like. It also has a stainless steel top as opposed to plastic (another thing I wanted) so it's very easy to clean. I never liked the full plastic of other fountains. The LED light is a good addition too. I haven't tested it with low water to see if the red light happens or if the motor does auto-shutoff like it's supposed to, but I shouldn't ever have that issue as I change the water everyday.I do have a few small complaints though. First, the plastic for the actual bowl reservoir part itself is a little thinner than I'd like. If you were to pick it up without the top on it's pretty flimsy. But once you put the filter section and top on, it's very stable. My other issue is with the placement of the filter. So the motor is at the bottom of the reservoir and a vertical tube is placed around its spout which causes the water to bubble out of the top section in the middle. Then the water moves to holes in the outer edges which drop it down into the tank again. The filter is ring shaped between the tank proper and the steel top, but the holes (on the top) are so close to the edge that when the water drips back down they are getting little to no contact with the filter.Other than those two quibbles, it's a wonderful product. It took me a few weeks of looking on Amazon before I finally settled on the pet fountain I was going to buy. I'm glad I chose this one and I'd recommend it to anyone with cats.

We loved it so much we bought a second one!
We have had a bunch of fountains over the years, and liked the similar one we had that was plastic without the LED (but still was the same design concept with the flower and shallow bowl). Our cats like to splash/play if they have a deep dish, so this is a much preferable design that offers them clean running water all day instead of an opportunity to make a huge mess.The metal section on top is much easier to clean without worries of scratching plastic or weird chemicals. We especially enjoy the LED light and while we haven't seen it go "RED" yet, it's cool that it has that feature to catch your attention.The light also makes a nice additional night-light and prevents tripping over the water bowls if they are in a frequented area.Most importantly the cats love using them and they're working great after months of continuous usage, only being turned off for cleaning. As with most of these fountains... they aren't really hard to clean or take apart if you've done it before. they're all pretty similar and I recommend making sure to check the actual motor/pump to see if there is hair clogging it up. It's not always obvious but it can impair the function if you don't make sure it's clear of any build up.

Water addicted kitten loves this water fountain!
This is a new review.I originally bought this a year ago for the stray adult male cat we took in. It seemed like a good product, but my cat just wasn’t interested, so I returned it.We got a new kitten who seems to be obsessed with water. Loves playing in the bathtub, trying to drink water out of dishes in the kitchen sink and occasionally jumping in the toilet. I decided to give this another try, hoping she would be more encouraged to drink out of this instead of a leaking faucet, but also a little terrified she would be playing with it and make a wet mess everywhere.She immediately took to it, loves it and it’s great to see how much water she drinks and luckily hasn’t made a mess splashing water playing around. I like the color, perfect nightlight, and no noise. Older male cat still isn’t interested but that’s okay.Overall, very happy with product. Just hope it holds up over time with cleaning and regular filter changes.

My cats are not big water drinkers. I had to do something to get them drinking more. My little girl Izzy loves to put her paws in the water bowl , which usually ends in her tipping it over. That gets me nuts. My little boy Slash,likes to drink out of the faucets in the sink or the tub. I saw this and thought that it would be perfect for both their issues. Well I got it. Set up was easy and got it going. I kept an eye on the level of water for a full week. It didnt seem like it was moving too much. I almost sent it back, I gave it one more day and I saw Slashie happily playing and drinking so I decided to keep it. I'm glad I did. You need to change the water and clean it every 2 weeks. It will get slimy if you dont watch it and that is very bad for the cats health. I'm going downstairs now to take it completely apart. I've had it 2 months and so far so good. My cats are peeing more so they are drinking more. That makes me glad I decided to keep it. There is a filter that you buy separately that you change every 2 to 3 weeks. It's very quiet. You can barely hear it at all. I recommend this.
